Mr. Grossman, the recipient of numerous industry-related corporate awards, has more than 30 years of upper level management experience in the retail supermarket industry. Before attaining his current position, he worked as a store manager for Western Beef Supermarkets for three years, as a district manager for Royal Farms Supermarkets for seven years, and held various management positions within the Waldbaums Inc./A&P supermarket chains for 15 years. Mr. Grossman's wide-ranging expertise includes troubleshooting, training and retraining management, inventory and asset control, prevention loss, budgeting, forecasting, consumer affairs, business accounting, and agriculture and market compliance. Gristedes Supermarkets, which was established more than 100 years ago, offer fresh meats, produce, dairy products, baked goods, frozen foods, gourmet foods, and nonfood items.

Mr. Grossman attributes his success to having successful mentors, strong reasoning skills, good listening and analytical abilities and strong management ethics. The highlight of his career to date was turning several failing units into successful and profitable stores through proper training and merchandising. Mr. Grossman aspires to attain an executive upper management position in a growing multi-billion dollar organization where he can utilize his 30+ years of experience to help the company grow through his success.
