Jacobs Agency Makes Lorraine Cheese the "Crown Jewel" of the Spring Deli Season
Jacobs Agency worked with Saputo Cheese to build an exciting promotional campaign around Lorraine Cheese.

CHICAGO, IL, July 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For the sixth consecutive year, Saputo Cheese has turned to Jacobs Agency to help build excitement around their popular Lorraine Cheese brand. Saputo is among the top five cheese producers in the United States.

This year's campaign explores the brand's premium heritage, positioning the cheese as the "Crown Jewel of your Sandwich." The royalty theme carries through in both sales and retail support materials including sell sheets, premium giveaways, coupon display promotions, static clings and a sampling program. The new campaign is also supported by an updated website, www.lorrainecheese.com.

"Lorraine Cheese has historically been aligned with a 'creamier, more flavorful than Swiss' premium position," says Addie Palin, Account Manager. "This year we focused again on the traits that make the cheese an indispensible ingredient in superior deli sandwiches."

The materials arrived in grocery stores nationwide in May to drive revenue during the key selling season of spring through fall. Campaign initiatives will be further supported by a national FSI placement in July.
