Entrepreneurial Baker Creates A Recipe For Success
Alice Larse has been endorsed by Stanford Who's Who for creativity, diligence and innovation.

Los Altos, CA, November 20, 2009 /Stanford Who's Who/-- Alice Larse has been endorsed by Stanford Who's Who for her creativity, diligence and innovation. As the Founder and Owner of Alice's Stick Cookies she has demonstrated the persistence required to be a success story in the small business world.

In her earlier years, Alice worked in her father's small town grocery in the state of Washington which gave her some valuable experience in dealing with vendors. She spent most of her life as a homemaker eventually moving on to working in the Culinary Industry. She gained 10 years of experience working for Menlo Park Allied Arts Guild Kitchen.

Her strong sense of charity later led her to managing a volunteer kitchen to benefit autistic children. She was also involved in assisting outreach programs for the homeless.

Larse has proven that it is never too late to live your dream. She had been making delicious cookies for years before she was finally urged by family members and friends to share those tasty treats of hers with the rest of the world. At the age of 70, she launched Alice's Stick Cookies serving the local area and has since gone on to earn national recognition. She has even incorporated her artistic abilities by creating her own package design. Her hand baked product is now available in gourmet and specialty food stores across the country including Dean & DeLuca in New York City.

She displays her consciousness for the large number of people in the population with food allergies by not adding eggs, nuts or peanut oil in the baking of her delightful morsels. She also uses only natural ingredients avoiding the use of preservatives and additives.

Alice has received an award for the Best Cookie by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade in both 2004 and 2006. Furthermore, she has been given favorable reviews in The San Francisco Chronicle as well as various other publications.
